We are currently seeking a highly analytical, passionate entrepreneur LOGISTICS COORDINATOR to assist the North American Logistics team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Logistics, this key role will work closely with all the regional and global business leaders to define and drive the strategic evolution of SMCP NA Supply Chain. Our entrepreneurial culture will require this professional to be able to work independently as well as part of a team, partner will all business areas (globally), and be able to prioritize multiple goals and responsibilities while adhering to strict deadlines.

What You'll Be Doing...
  • Analysis and review of the Logistics budget with regard to transportation costs / costs per unit.
  • Manage several 3PLs (warehouse and transportation), so merchandise flows are optimized, and contractual KPIs are under control.
  • Use data analysis to identify trends and to forecast future costs.
  • Define and monitor KPI's. Organize formal reviews with internal and external partners. Monthly KPI's include: Whse shipments (Inbound / Outbound), short ships, inventory accuracy, Fedex monitoring and time in transit.
  • Ensure Whse is meeting all SLA's especially regarding freight forwarding.
  • Develop and maintain SOP's, Reports, and Key Performance Indicators in partnership with Sr. Manager of Logistics to help monitor and optimize results.
  • Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to the industry/company benchmarks, identify trends, prepare cost analysis.
  • Prepares spreadsheets for data analysis. Ultimately, prepares reports with charts + graphs, maps, and other ad-hoc requests.
  • Maintain inventory levels by reconciling discrepancies between 3PL and internal systems and cycle count execution.
  • Fedex reporting and auditing.
  • Assist with Duty drawbacks.

Who You Are...
  • 1+ years of experience in Warehousing / Logistics Management.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Solid powerpoint skills.
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Familiarity with 3PL and Carrier mgmt..
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience with RFP/RFQ..
  • Demonstrated experience with Import/Export process and regulations.
  • Good negotiation skills.
