Reporting to the Director of Product you'll be instrumental in setting and executing the overall vision for our omni-channel transactional platform capabilities. Which will become a foundation to support our current and new business models sustained by a modular platform approach across all channels and geographies. Moreover, you will set targets to unlock and accelerate global growth by providing frictionless shopping experiences to consumers around the world using a flexible, fast, efficient, and cost effective global fulfillment journey.

The primary focus of the role will be, managing a team that will be working closely with our company tech and business players to achieve a solid and aligned strategy that will build the foundations for Farfetch core platform growth


    • Work with company leaders within Technology and Business areas to build a state-of-the-art product vision and strategy which ensures delivery of targets with the right priorities and the most flexible and scalable systems
    • Lead strategic planning and management of the product portfolio by encouraging the development of meaningful business cases which address the needs and opportunities and influencing wider organization forums throughout persuasive oral and written strategies
    • Champion a product team growth by supporting team organisation and development through communication, development plans and mentoring.
    • Act as a product leader in the organization by influencing product community and inspiring its growth
    • Create a balanced approach and prioritisation of ideation, development and delivery across the domain. Leading projects with high levels of uncertainty, from discovery to successful definition, adoption and delivery or investment decision-making.


    • Proven experience in leading Product Development ideation teams.
    • Experience in building platforms, ideally in SaaS and/or global omnichannel commerce is a plus.
    • Able to think globally/strategically and frame new and complex issues
    • Ability to use data to inform key decisions. This includes analyzing usage patterns to drive prioritization and adopting a test and learn approach to building product to inform product direction.
    • Experienced in managing product portfolios as a combination of many products that involve multiple partners and product squads.
    • Familiar working with a diverse set of disciplines - technical experts such as Designers, Researchers, Analysts, Architects, Data Scientists and Engineers.
    • A professional with solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships. Excellent communication skills in English is mandatory
