Manager, Manufacturing Excellence (Footwear)

Position Summary:
- As a Manufacturing Excellence Manager, you are in charge of the elevation of our factories manufacturing process, efficiency and reliability. You will need to collaborate with our industrialization teams, QA teams and the factories production and QA/QC departments to improve manufacturing process. Through travel to all our factories, you are responsible to share the best practices amongst our factories.
- A strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering and Footwear Manufacturing process is essential.

Job Duties:
1. Suppliers manufacturing process improvement:
- Lead, manage and execute Optimization & Manufacturing excellence projects that deliver measurable contribution through increase in manufacturing efficiency, quality and speed. Embed Lean Manufacturing Principles in projects to enable sustainable improvements - Establish and track lean metrics
- Bring Industrial Engineering discipline into our manufacturing pool and work directly with vendors to improve manufacturing process generally
- And help factories to set up production lines in a more efficient and adapted way for our brand needs
- Take and share the best practices amongst our suppliers

2. Collaboration between Technical teams, Quality team and factories:
- Facilitate regular cross-functional events at sourcing location to identify short term, mid-term and long term efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Ensure KPI data for Automation and other efficiency improvement initiatives is properly tracked and data made available.
- Partner with machine manufacturers and attend industry trade fairs to keep educated on industry technology development, which will impact productivity.
- Collaborate with teams involved in production to ensure improvements are kept and implemented
- Elevate the level of manufacturing knowledge of our production teams
- Transfer knowledge into productivity improvement efforts across responsible factories.
- Train the teams to the discipline of six sigma, lean manufacturing etc.
- Assist building platform for knowledge transfer accessible throughout the PVH and supplier groups. (Business Process Management, Training Material, News bulletin, etc.; supplier summits, exchange meetings, etc.)

3.Next generation manufacturing & digitalization:
- Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies that bring competitive advantage to the PVH.
- Lead the elevation and digitalization of our suppliers
- Drives the creation and implementation of effective cost analytical methods/process/tools and strategies to optimize total cost & improve operational efficiency
- Support our manufacturing partner to implement full traceability solutions

Requirements:
- University graduate in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Min 10 years' experience Industrial engineering and manufacturing management in Footwear industry.

- Experience of international supplying chain and manufacturing is a must.
- Expert knowledge and experience in Lean 6 Sigma practices and training techniques.
