OBJECTIVE: Seymoure Luxury Group, DBA Seymoure Gloves, is seeking an experienced sales person to help grow our luxury retail, luxury department store, boutique and supplemental online boutique presence. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in luxury sales experience, have a proven track record with other brands, relationships with buyers and a well-versed understanding of the luxury accessory space.

 

ROLE:

The role of SALES PERSON will include:

  • SALES:
    • Building new book of targets
    • Capitalizing on existing relationships/targets from the brand to ensure sell-through and placement
    • Agreeing to and meeting quarterly and annual sales targets
  • COMMUNICATION/MANGEMENT
    • Sales reports delivered to CEO in a timely fashion
    • Participation in weekly sales + marketing meetings
    • Managing the communication with potential clients and communicating weekly with brand CEO
    • Participating in events where sales opportunities exist (i.e NYFW, etc.)
    • Willingness to communicate on company-wide project management software
    • Attend and manage select trade shows
    • Managing another sales-persons introductions and transitioning them into clients for the brand

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Some travel required
  • Ideally LA- or NYC-based
  • Proven track-record of sales with high-end luxury and major retailers
  • Proficiency in MAC programs, Dropbox file management, and the Google Suite of services

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Carrying the small-item accessories samples to and from showrooms, vendors, etc.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBLITIES

  • You will be reporting to the CEO of the brand, who will:
    • Guide/direct you to correct party for onboarding tasks
    • Provide you with the information necessary to be successful
    • Provide you with the onboarding of sales and all necessary materials to be successful
    • Train you on the brand, product, and the organization of the company
    • Outline goals with and for you
    • Provide you with the process for review and accountability measures

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • You will be working remotely, the brand is based in Los Angeles, CA

PAY

  • This is a commission-based sales position
  • Draws and stipends are negotiable, commensurate with experience
  • Mileage and travel will be reimbursed
  • This is an FLSA non-exempt position.
