Product Design Assistant

Kenmark Eyewear is seeking a qualified candidate whose creativity and design talent can

flourish in the position of Product Design Assistant. In this unique role, your level of taste,

sense of fashion & form, and creative vision will aid our design team in crafting original Eyewear

and Sunwear. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong attention to detail, ability

to render illustrations, and a willingness to grow with the organization. This position is within

our Product Design department, and interacts internally with our Marketing, Purchasing and

Sales teams.

Responsibilities:

• Research Market and Trends

• Create mood boards for variety of brands and collections

• Generate concepts based upon design direction

• Produce graphic representations and color renderings

• Effectively communicate design direction to suppliers

• Keep track of sampled development and timelines

• Organize and maintain material libraries

• Modify CAD illustrations as needed

• Follow manufacturing process from Concept to Shelf

What you Bring:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent design experience

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator

• An Artistic eye

• Superior attention to detail

• Desire to learn and contribute to multiple facets within the company

• Your own unique style and self

You may also Possess:

• Knowledge of AutoCad/ Fusion 360°

• Familiarity with 3d Printing

This position is full-time and based at our corporate headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky.
