Position Overview
Purpose and Scope: To be the key product point person for RLS/PFS for the assigned label/ business. Responsible for overseeing Product Execution as it relates to in season merchandising, building and leading the Merchandise strategies locally to drive and maximize sales for that business

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities: 1. Channel Expert
* Conduct Competitor analysis, pricing research, product research, consumer and market research on a seasonal basis to provide feedback to the Buying and Planning teams ensuring that assortments, merchandise and pricing strategies make sense with the channel needs
* Support Buying team in their scorecard development by providing consolidated feedback on channel trends, successes/opportunities and the end consumer.
* Liaise between the Buying and Planning team, the local Retail Operations team and Store Managers to provide feedback on past seasons as well as the upcoming lines for their applicable business
* New ideas for driving business - Communicate and coordinate any Marketing/PR tie ups, events, exclusive opportunities 2. Gate Keeper of the Brand and Merchandise Strategy
* Ensure the right touchpoints are in place throughout the buy process to align buy with channel business needs and opportunities.
* Key project lead and communicator of the seasonal merchandise strategy, and execution, to local Retail teams.
* Lead and ensure execution of 360 customer experience that connect product initiatives to consumer journey experience.
* Supporting Buying teams on any new/updated brand strategies and creating a plan applicable to channel 3. Sales Driver and Ownership
* Identifying successes and challenges of the Go-To-Market initiatives to drive in and post season action plans in order to achieve sales plan for their accountable business
* Partner with buying to maximize sales and profitability of product line through strategic product selection that supports the customer experience.
* Manage execution and in season performance of assortments through the establishment of strong partnerships with cross functional teams as well as trend/business analysis.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Job Requirements: · Proficiency in retail math · Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications · Ability to multi task and prioritize · Able to adapt to the fast paced and constantly changing environment · Excellent cross functional communication skills · Creative, assertive and solution-oriented · Strong leadership and team building skills including the ability to motivate, negotiate and influence effectively across departments & divisions · Experience in fashion apparel and accessories industry with knowledge in merchandising and retail environment
