About THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity to join the Facilities team in a fast-paced dynamic role, the Showroom Manager will work closely with the Facilities team to ensure the Showroom and Office maintain a high standard at all times, delivering outstanding customer service to our colleagues and visitors.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing a team of five to organise and maintain the showrooms for customer appointments to an exceptionally high standard.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with senior stakeholders; understanding seasonal requirements, ensuring the team are equipped and ready to support the business needs.
  • Being the main point of contact for events and bookings within the showrooms and managing the process.
  • Managing Boardroom meetings, and supporting the EA of Leadership team with any requirements.
  • Supporting with diary management and arranging appointments for the Sales Teams.
  • Managing previous season pack down is effectively completed and new season set up is accomplished.
  • Recruiting, developing and retaining talent across the team.
  • Setting and communicating clear goals and expectations to the team.
  • Encouraging a culture of respect and encouraging feedback both to praise and to upgrade standards.
  • Completing a daily checklist to ensure the maintenance of Showroom front and back of house standards, reporting any issues to facilities, IT, hospitality and cleaning when needed.
  • Managing cross functional collaboration and managing communication to ensure deadlines are met and creating a critical path.
  • Health & Safety - Managing of contractors and coordinating any maintenance requirements of the showroom. Responsible for communicating Fire Safety & Evacuation routes.
  • Managing and maintaining the budgets for the showroom requirements and catering.
  • Managing the recruitment budget, approving how and when costs are spent in accordance to business needs.
  • Reporting, analysing and delivering data to the senior team to form new budgets for the forthcoming year in line with headcount growth for associate events.
  • Managing weekly 1-1's with Showroom team to check in on work progress and to coach on personal growth and development within the role.
  • Establishing strong client relationships and providing 360 support to sales during selling season and understanding the needs of the frequent key account customers.
  • Supporting the wider facilities team with other projects and collaborate daily.
  • Being the Key holder for the head office.
  • Managing the showroom team and their rotas.
  • Managing the showroom calendar and seasonal requirements/ moves, ensuring timelines are met and supported by additional departments/stakeholders in an efficient manner.
  • Ensuring the company culture and values are reflected in both attraction and selection tools, and candidate experience.
  • Ensuring the company culture and values are carried out as an integral Showroom brand ambassador.
  • Ensuring that Region North's needs and expectations are considered and best practices are shared with other countries when required.

About YOU
  • You'll have strong experience managing a fast paced dynamic team
  • You'll have previous experience of showroom or event catering management
  • You'll have experience of developing and promoting team members
  • You'll have ideally worked within a fast paced retail/fashion/ Catering/Showroom or office environment.
  • You'll be an inspiring leader, with an ability to build, manage and engage teams
  • You'll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease
  • You'll be a commercially astute and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels.
  • You'll be skilled in strategy , time critical, proactive but also reactive in high pressured environments
  • Experienced but not essential in working with VIP's
  • Environment interchangeable to suit event or business requirements
