Creative Patternmaker

Acne Studios is recruiting a Creative Pattern Maker, with the task of delivering high-quality patterns and creating the perfect fit within your designated product groups, which can be delivered to in-house atelier or Acne Studios suppliers.

The role

This is a role that entails delivering high-quality patterns to our suppliers or in-house atelier within tight deadlines, being responsible for pattern quality from sketch handover to the last production fitting, participating in passings, fittings, and production fittings, interacting closely with inhouse atelier regarding construction and finishings, collaborating on your styles with Product, Design, Technical Design, Internal Atelier, and external suppliers during development, show preparation, and production phase.

You will report to Senior Head Patternmaker and belong to the Pattern/Atelier department. Your team will consist of Creative Patternmakers, Junior Patternmakers, and Pattern/Atelier assistants.

You

We are looking for profiles combining:

• Academic degree in design and/or patternmaking and a minimum of 7 years of experience as a pattern maker preferably in an international high-end fashion brand
• Good understanding of the creative process and a passion for making patterns with experimental solutions
• Proficiency in CAD pattern software (Gerber, Lectra, etc.)
• Knowledge of CLO
• Good command of the English technical terms and fluency in English
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work towards tight deadlines
• Positive mindset and a team player with strong communication skills.

Acne Studios is a global company with English as working language. Fluency in written and oral English is therefore a must. You will be based in Stockholm. Limited travel may occur.
