The Plus Analytics team is part of Customer Fulfillment, a cross-functional unit that builds scalable customer-facing products and processes. Our services drive the success of Plus in markets that Zalando currently offers the service, and will form the foundation for the Plus expansion to new markets. The Plus Analytics team is the unit responsible for building a new setup to ensure that our services and operations will be scalable for the years to come. This team will lead building and preparing Plus to take the next step towards future growth.

As a Lead Product Analyst (m/f/d) for Plus Analytics, you will take a trailblazing role in redefining the reporting landscape for Plus, forecasting, and planning. With the team, you will work on building the required infrastructure that will enable us to run complex deep dives that will help us understand opportunities to boost customer experience.

  • You'll build and manage a team of Product Analysts in our Berlin office
  • You'll lead and coach a group of team-embedded Product Analysts
  • You'll prioritize a backlog of high-impact analytics projects according to clear user, business, and technical criteria
  • You'll define, track, and report on key business and product success metrics
  • You'll identify, translate, prioritize important product questions based on data
  • You'll explore data to find actionable insights and make product recommendations through funnels, cohort analyses, long-term trends, user segmentation, regression models, and more
  • You'll set-up, analyze, and promote good practices for multivariate experiments
  • You have previous relevant experience in a similar role and a degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
  • You have a deep understanding of numbers, as well as a strong business sense
  • You have a passion for making sense of user behavior
  • You have recent experience of using more advanced analytics and some combination of:
    • Statistical software language and environment (like R, SQL, Python)
    • Analytics tools experience (Google Analytics, Microstrategy, Bigquery)
    • Experience performing analysis with large datasets and a deep understanding of statistical analysis, experiment design, and common pitfalls of data analysis
  • You drive projects with minimal guidance and focus on high impact work
  • You effectively synthesize, visualize, and communicate your ideas to others and have the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
