Security Supervisor - CALVIN KLEIN

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Security Supervisor is responsible for administering and assisting in corporate security programs to protect corporate assets and employees, and supervises on duty security officers to maintain compliance with security and corporate policy and objectives

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Establishes surveillance networks throughout corporate premises.
• Operates electronic security equipment, conducts security inspections, investigates security incidents, and prepares written reports on findings. May contact law enforcement personnel as necessary.
• Supervision of security staff to assure compliance with security and corporate policy and objectives.
• Monitors and assures security records availability including live pictures and retrieval of surveillance tapes.
• Trains security staff and personnel in security policies and procedures, techniques, and programs.
• Assists with building evacuation, as needed, in the event of fire or other disasters.
• Assists the Security Manager with projects within corporate security policy. Projects may include investigations, security surveys, and development/modification of security programs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience & Education:

• Licensed through the New York State Attorney General's office as a commissioned security officer or armed security officer. Ongoing training required to maintain certification.
• 3-4 years prior law enforcement/security experience.

Skills:

• Effective written and oral communication skills.
