The Store Operations Associate will support projects to for the retail store locations such as specific system rollouts, store tasks, reconciliation of invoices as well as assisting in any other identified operational projects.

The associate will partner with various corporate departments and cross brands in order to streamline processes, communicate store action items and update policies and guides.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with providing additional follow-ups on behalf of the field when required. Reports received include, but are not limited to the following departments: Store Operations, Customer Service, Loss Prevention, Risk Management, Facilities and Inventory Control
  • Invoice Management - Reconciles vendor invoices and credits through Ariba or Docusign.
  • Partners with Finance and Accounts Payable when needed.
  • Vendor Relationships - Manages the day-to-day programs of assigned vendors.
  • Partners with vendors to set up service(s), terminate service(s) or communicate any break(s) in service.
  • Helps Assist with system rollouts to stores.
  • Assists in the development of retail store incentives, managing results, and prize fulfillment
  • Assists with new store openings including leading, conference calls if applicable, setting up operational services and interacting with various depts.
  • Assists with store closures including leading, conference calls if applicable, closing up operational services and utilities and interacting with various depts.
  • Assist in creating contest programs through store communication, store swag, etc. Partners with internal team and Corporate Procurement when needed.
  • Store Communication - creating and communicating tasks to the Field Associates and managers through the company communication platform People's Place.
  • Assists with Policy and Procedure Updates
  • Assists with updates and creation of QRGs.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned, such as compiling store directories, distribution alignments, field contact lists, etc.
  • Work with store ops intern on various projects

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2+ years of experience in retail store operations and/or retail store management
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive approach with good follow through
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Outside of the box thinking in order to elevate current processes
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
  • PC Skills- MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), MS Outlook, In Design, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at once with the adherence to deadlines
  • Creates procedures to improve operation efficiency
  • Detail oriented/innovative traits necessary
  • Must be able to find best solutions and developing methods to improve efficiency
  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects
  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing priorities
  • Hybrid Work Environment
  • Travel (NA) required and some lifting required
