THE ROLE

The FARFETCH Brand & Creative team is looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Talent Manager to join their growing team. This is a brand-new role within the organisation reporting into the Senior Director of Brand Content and working collaboratively with our Brand Strategy, Editorial, Creative and Production teams. You will predominantly manage relationships with our FARFETCH industry-leading community of content makers across global fashion and beauty. You are a passionate, creative individual with strong organisational skills and relevant industry experience and contacts. You will partner with both internal teams across the organisation and the external talent teams and management to ensure the talent & creative efforts align to our Brand vision and strategy. This is a unique opportunity for a great communicator and creative individual to develop strong industry relationships, own end-to-end aspects of our FARFETCH Brand, Community and Content strategies and support the team that produces world class creative and content.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Build relationships with talent across luxury fashion, beauty and retail
    • Plan and commission content, castings and bookings with talent and their agencies.
    • Commission, onboard, and negotiate and finalise contracts with leading talent in collaboration with Content and Creative teams.
    • Manage content briefs development, delivery and execution within timelines and ensure brand guidelines are adhered to all throughout
    • Collaborate with Brand team to align Brand priorities to talent strategies
    • Develop and present talent decks and content plans proactively and communicate creative ideas to talents.
    • Develop budgets around talent costs and packages
    • Manage product gifting to talent around campaigns and key cultural, brand launches and focuses.
    • Liaise with talent to schedule logistics around shootings and events (e.g. travel, comms, products, etc)
    • Source, manage and maintain close and mutually beneficial relationships with agencies, partners and collaborators.
    • Collaborate with Activation, Content Planning, Amplification and Marketing Production teams to ensure smooth and consistent launches and execution of these activations and campaigns
    • Support Brand team in ensuring the FARFETCH Brand vision and values are achieved through meaningful talent collaboration
    • Cross-functional role working with Content, Marketing, Commercial, Brand Partnerships, Comms, Legal, Product.
    • This role includes talent recruitment, ongoing relationship management, briefing campaigns, coordinate reporting on performance, leading negotiations and each stage until contracts are signed, managing and tracking payments and invoicing, bookings


WHO YOU ARE

    • Experience in a similar role across luxury fashion, beauty, retail, digital or publishing (in-house talent manager or at talent agency)
    • Highly creative, culturally aware and passionate about the world of modern luxury fashion and beauty (especially creativity, community and communication)
    • Must-have experience within relationship management: pitching, onboarding, and commissioning talent.
    • Demonstrate contacts across fashion and beauty industries
    • Strong talent negotiation experience especially regarding contractual fee and legal detail
    • A great collaborator with strong communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, visual) and able to form relationships at all levels
    • Comfortable attending events and communicating with potential celebrities, influencers and creators
    • Experienced in end to end managing conversations around contracts, negotiations, content briefs and deliverables
    • Ambition to do things differently in a way that is meaningful and impactful for the brand
