OVERVIEW:


As a Programmatic Media Trader you will be responsible for implementing Gymshark's programmatic activity across North America. You will be required to develop, set-up, manage, and optimize both display and video campaigns. You will require experience in managing, planning, and executing Programmatic campaigns to ensure they are meeting the goals and targets for the business.

This newly created role will require a proactive and inventive individual who will be core to the setup and implementation of our Programmatic approach at Gymshark in North America. You will build relationships across core teams, collaborate with marketing channels and implement upcoming opportunities and trends that will ensure we stay ahead and are market leaders within the industry.

This role requires a confident approach to daily budget phasing and media planning. You will be required to provide analysis of weekly and monthly performance data to inform optimization decisions and to inform the senior team on how the strategy is contributing to the overall business growth across regions.

Please note t his is a hybrid role partially based in our downtown Denver, CO office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for planning, delivering, and measuring all programmatic display/video activity, ensuring campaigns meet ROI targets and objectives.
  • Undertaking daily campaign optimisation and proactively managing budget across all Programmatic campaigns.
  • Provide weekly insights into performance of activity against channel targets.
  • Ensure all reporting and analysis is focussed on creating actionable insights for both the Paid Search team, wider Media team and Senior Management. 
  • Adopt a test and learn mentality, ensuring the strategy is constantly evolving and improving programmatic activity.
  • Develop a robust audience strategy, collaborating with channel leads and data team to determine an audience testing plan and roadmap.
  • Build strong and long-lasting relationships with key partners to ensure we are always at the forefront for new innovations and betas. 
  • Ensure we are expanding our regional Programmatic strategies in line with business objectives and effectively utilising budget across these territories.
  • Forecast potential outturn from Programmatic activity from conducting thorough and consistent analysis of performance and results.
  • Work alongside other Marketing channels to collaborate and align on marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with our internal creative team on the creative output for the channel to ensure assets created meet requirements.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and news to ensure continuous growth.

Management and Support: 

  • Manage all programmatic activity, including planning, campaign set-up, budget management, optimizations, and reporting.
  • End-to-end management and maintenance of our media buying platform.
  • Key involvement in creative campaigns, including making recommendations on budget planning, strategy, and team execution.

Collaboration: 

  • Ensure collaboration across marketing campaign stakeholders to ensure campaigns are being executed with clear objectives, visibility into other Marketing tactics and debrief post campaign.
  • Collaborate with the Data & Insight team to better understand the customer journey and how activity fits into this for campaign execution.
  • Work closely with Creative team, ensuring assets are briefed in, delivered, and executed in a timely manner and to the standard required.

Analytics:

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to be executed, reporting on key metrics relevant to the channel and activity.
  • Reporting on campaign and overall performance at North America country level.
  • Providing insight into performance to relevant stakeholders to ensure we are continually optimizing and improving activity.
  • Ensure all reporting includes actionable insights and adjustments are made to aid optimal performance across campaigns.

Knowledge and Opportunity: 

  • Focus on visibility of campaign performance to adjust and optimize accordingly to ensure budget is being invested in the right activity with the most optimal results.
  • Understanding of media planning processes to ensure we are working efficiently and effectively.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

EDUCATION, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL

  • At least 2 years' Programmatic experience in-house or within an agency 
  • Experience with media buying platforms and/or working directly with publishers
  • Experience optimizing all Programmatic activity, including bid management, creative and competitor benchmarking 
  • Confident in presenting findings to the team  
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a range of audiences  
  • Confident in querying data and problem solving  
  • Ability to analyze data and report on findings   
  • Competent with Excel  
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)   
  • A passion for all things digital and a desire to test new tactics and keep up to date with industry changes

This role has a salary range between $57,000-$68,500 annually depending on experience.
