The Position
  • The candidate will be part of the Raw Material team within the CK Europe Buying and Demand Planning team. The position connects with key stakeholders such Merchandising, Product Development and Central supply chain teams.
  • Responsible for the Raw Material (fabric) planning and procurement for all CK Europe collections - main priorities lie with the NOS (Never out of stock) and Raw material Liability Management & consolidation.
  • Develop NOS fabric buy plans on SKU level, based on product data download, monthly sales forecast and buys, requested shipping dates and information obtainedfrom vendors regarding lead times. Additionally, assess minimal Order Quantities (MOQ), upcharges and update buyplan daily in case of additions / changes.
  • Liability consolidation of the mainline seasonal pre book vs. buys. Use historical data and performance to assess risk factors on fabric level.
  • Place Raw material bookings with vendors and mills directly.
  • Confirm fabric pre bookings, fabric ready dates and any additional costing with vendors and mills.
