POSITION SUMMARY
  • Preparation of accounting journals for AP/AR; Invoice checking and preparation of payments; T&E verification; Assist in the monthly closing and analysis; Prepare accounting schedules for reviews. Work with other departments on a needed basis.
  • This is a temporary position for a period of 6-month. The position fills the gap as one finance team member will be taking maternity leave in late Q3 / Q4. Expect this position could be on board around mid-Jun.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Prepare and review of accounting journals for AP/AR, and ensure correct coding in SAP and with proper supportings
  • Process AP invoices with proper approval seek
  • Review trade and non-trade invoice, T&E claims and payments preparation
  • Assist in monthly closing process
  • Assist in Sales / Purchases / Commission related tasks
  • Prepare account analysis on P&L accounts and balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare schedules for monthly reviews
  • Follow up on account receivables
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned

  • Ability to understand the usage of various systems in an effective and efficient manner;
  • Identifying and assisting in implementation of process improvements is a plus.

  • Able to deliver on a timely manner and observe relevant due dates as required for key financial processes such as month-end closing, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with a medium-sized company or above
  • Degree holders in accounting or relevant disciplines; (ii) Semi-qualified/ qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent

Skills:
  • Strong MS Office skills;
  • Adequate knowledge in SAP is a MUST;
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Team player;
  • Detail and Result-oriented;
  • Sound knowledge of Accounting;
  • Basic knowledge of Internal Controls
