To support all aspects of the development of our executive reward strategy, policy and processes and to ensure objective and informed decision-making on executive reward and governance. The role will include taking full accountability for certain aspects of executive reward while working collaboratively with the Director Executive Reward and/or VP Head of Reward on other aspects.


  • Support the Director Executive Reward on the delivery of the Directors' Remuneration Report, related year-end reporting and audit requirements and AGM and shareholder engagement activities, including being accountable for a number of key activities
  • Support the Director Executive Reward and the VP Head of Reward on the delivery of the Remuneration Committee agenda, including drafting some papers and supporting materials and obtaining cross-functional input
  • Support the Director Executive Reward and the VP Head of Reward on the delivery of the annual executive reward review
  • Deliver data analysis in relation to executive reward, applying insight to draw conclusions and make robust recommendations
  • Develop and implement documentation and tools for new hires and promotions for roles within the remit of the Remuneration Committee
  • Manage all executive benchmarking requirements, including survey participation
  • Lead data analysis for the delivery of gender and ethnicity pay gap reporting
  • Respond to ad hoc executive reward queries and undertake analysis and projects for the Chief People Officer, VP Head of Reward, and Director Executive Reward


  • Previous experience of executive reward from a consultancy background and/or an established in-house reward team, including a good understanding of some or all of the regulatory framework, corporate governance, share plans and tax and legal aspects of executive reward
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to adapt to different audiences (e.g. drafting Remuneration Committee papers, dealing with the auditors and drafting communications on shareholding guideline compliance)
  • Highly-motivated and proactive
  • Strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and IT skills (proficiency with Excel to advanced level preferred) and an ability to apply these skills creatively to ask questions, solve problems and improve processes
  • Great attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot issues and deliver high-quality results
  • Collaborative and enjoys working with others
  • Proven experience of adopting a mindset of continuous improvement to make current ways of working more efficient and effective
