Merchandising Associate

LePrix is a fast growing company that is innovating the preowned luxury industry driven by technology. We are a data-driven merchandising team focused on driving sales, supply and customer success.  We are looking for a reliable, driven, scrappy and enthusiastic Merchandising Associate to join the team.  S/he must be a team player, have an eye for detail, be passionate about merchandising and be eager to learn.   

Main responsibilities but not limited to:

• Merchandising Analytics/Tools
• Research competitive pricing and margins
• Help build supply and demand reports based on data
• Analyze sales performance to identify best and worst sellers by model, brand, resource, etc
• Help upgrade internal merchandising tools to make constant improvements
• Ecommerce Merchandising 
• Assist with copywriting product titles, descriptions, and product attributes to optimize
• Research and assist with merchandising category structure and organization ie: style tags 
• Assist with visual merchandising on the website
• Merchandising Partnerships
• Assist in maximizing sales opportunities with external partners
• Support the marketing and wholesale operations team to execute the best outcome for the partners 

Skills/Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Microsoft Office- specifically Excel fluency
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Enthusiasm to learn and team-player attitude
• Works well under pressure and deadlines
• Experience in eCommerce
• Sensitivity and knowledge of the fashion luxury Industry
• Strong relationship, autonomy, rigour, precision, curiosity, reactivity, adaptability and flexibility, editorial facilities, deductive skills
• Basic computer skills
• University graduate 

Nice to Haves:

• Prior experience in vintage luxury products, pricing research and analysis

Our office is in the DC area. S/he will report directly to the VP of Supply and Merchandising.
