Position Overview
The Senior Merchandise Planning Associate, Women's Collection, Men's Purple Label, Women's Polo Accessories & FW is responsible for driving Performance by focusing on maximizing top line sales and margin expansion through metrics-driven decision making and action; Support Senior Manager and Merchandising partners in creating Seasonal Strategies, using analytical insights to help acheive key performance targets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Merchandising partners to create SKU and Delivery Plans based on Strategic Initiatives, Product Sales Analytics, and needs/budgets of Commercial Teams
* Post Market Recap Creation to analyze Global Investments
* Support Heads of Merchandising to create Seasonal Strategy Presentations
* Analysis of Core Assortment and Inventory Position; help provide recommendations on exit strategy of underperforming SKUS
* Collaboration with Production and Product development teams on opportunities to improve costing
* Support Merchandising in creating seasonal markdown recommendations
* Provide Fiscal and Seasonal reporting, including financial topline performance and style selling; Ad Hoc Reporting
* Identify opportunities to reduce overdevelopment, increase SKU efficiency and improve commonality of Global Buys
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* Experience in previous buying or planning experience, or similar role
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication
* Ability to multi-task and remain flexible
* Team player with Global Mindset and understanding
* Excellent Microsoft Office Knowledge, particularly Excel and PowerPoint #LI-DB1
