Our 6-month, paid Corporate Internship program is extremely robust which is based out of our NYC Corporate office. We are currently recruiting for our Fall 2022 Internship Program which begins in July. As an SMCP intern, you will reap the benefits of a comprehensive experience which will consist of 3 components: on the job training in the specific functional area; experience working in a Corporate business environment; and participation in a monthly professional development series to supplement the functional experience you will be receiving.

We are currently seeking a FT Intern to support our Finance team. This is an exciting hands on opportunity to be a part of a growing French brand in the affordable luxury space.

Member of the FP&A team, the Financial Analyst Intern will support the USA and Canada business units and assist in maintaining and developing business controls and reports to ensure financial accuracy. Your role and responsibilities will be composed of two main parts:

• Business Analysis: Support retail and other departments by updating reports to be able to analyze our business performance to support decision taking of the top management.
• Financial Analysis: Reporting and ad hoc analysis.

What You'll Be Doing...

#1 | Business Analyst:

• Maintain and publish daily, weekly, month-to-date and year-to-date sales reports and KPI Dashboards in an accurate and timely manner
• Prepare the weekly reporting file supporting the weekly trade meeting, and assist in the weekly trade meetings
• Prepare the supporting file for the Retail Performance Review (monthly)
• Help on adhoc requests

#2 | Financial Analyst:

• Reporting: Assist in the preparation of presentations including monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Support the team in the financial closing process

Who You Are...

• Enthusiastic and team player with a can-do attitude
• Must be resourceful, proactive, organized, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical capacity (Excel formulas, PowerPoint)
• BA or Master's degree in Finance (or ongoing)
• BIlingual: English / French a plus.
