Overview

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, the IT Support Engineer (1st Line Support) will join the IT Solutions team at Stella McCartney Head Office in London. You will ensure business continuity across all elements of foundational infrastructure (SSO, Active Directory, Networks, Wireless, VOIP etc.) and cover level 1 troubleshooting, application development, application support and database administration. This position is a hands-on subject matter expert executing and support of SMC's infrastructure solutions particularly with regard to the Microsoft elements as well as current foundation infrastructure (SSO, Active Directory, Networks, Wireless, VOIP etc.). This position supports the Platform and Infrastructure Manager.

Your Mission:
  • To provide onsite support across Stella McCartney Head Office, including one to one care for senior stakeholders across the business and supporting with any IT requests or issues that arise independently.
  • Further support for Stella McCartney locations including home and offices for the board members.
  • Support managing Stella McCartney Active Directory.
  • Support managing Stella McCartney SD-WAN Network and wireless.
  • Support managing SMC VOIP.
  • Responsible for support of ongoing management of data Integration from various systems such as RetailPro, Microsoft o365, Unified Communications and Databases.
  • Support and managing SMC single sign on.
  • Support ongoing management of overall infrastructure across the company, globally.
  • Provide an expert and autonomous service to manage external vendors, driving delivery of unique local solutions, on behalf of the Stella McCartney IT team.
  • Take ownership to log, process and resolve issues through the helpdesk and issue tracking systems, working with other internal team members or third-party support to resolve root cause of escalated operational problems in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for the overall management of Stella McCartney's infrastructure assets. This includes the responsibility for the technical architecture of the infrastructure capability (in-house and managed service), design and architecture of the networks and hosting.
  • Responsible for supporting and the design, development and quality assurance for Stella McCartney's infrastructure platforms.
  • Able to function as a single point of contact for all infrastructure needs.
  • Champion Service and Support in your service area and ensuring service impact is minimised.
  • Maintain an up-to-date infrastructure catalogue, service catalogue across the enterprise.
  • Travelling to Europe when the business requires.


Your Talent:
  • Previous experience working in a shared infrastructure organisation.
  • Experience administering Microsoft AD/O365.
  • Excellent understanding of infrastructure migration.
  • Understanding of IP networks and traffic, firewalls, routing etc.
  • Good knowledge of standards and practices for IT project lifecycle management activities and deliverables.
  • Strong blend of technical depth and business acumen.
  • Desirable development and delivery of infrastructure across cloud, on-premise, network delivery, security
  • Experience of working with 3rd parties and 3rd party delivered services
  • Highly interested in innovation and disruptive technology, a self-starter.
  • Innovative and risk-based thinking.
