Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking a Staff Accountant II, Consolidations and Reporting in Parsippany, NJ. This position will be primarily responsible for assisting with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes. This will include the analysis for the consolidated Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows. This position will also participate in process improvement projects and will complete other non-routine assignments at the direction of department management.

* This position is located in-person at our Parsippany, NJ location with an optional hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and recording of equity transactions, including equity infusions, dividend transactions and non-controlling interests.
  • Preparation of a consolidated capital spend analysis for real estate and IT projects.
  • Analyzing balance sheet variations at the legal entity level and preparing consolidated balance sheet analyses including a monthly balance sheet pack.
  • Analyzing the cash flow at the legal entity and consolidated level and preparing a quarterly cash flow package that is submitted to LVMH Group.
  • Tracking international submissions during the close.
  • Liaising with the local finance teams abroad to ensure close deadlines are met and monthly submissions in the consolidation system SyRUS are complete and accurate.
  • Participating in process improvements projects (departmental, divisional and company-wide)
  • Assisting management with ad hoc reporting and projects, including the implementation of new systems and system upgrades.
  • Assist with external audit requests.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 1-3 years of public and/or private accounting, with consolidation experience a plus.
  • CPA candidate or hold CPA preferred
  • Must be proficient in Excel and tech savvy
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Team player with proven ability to collaborate productively
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours during monthly and year-end closings, as well as for special assignments when requested
