RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

 

  • OWNERSHIP OF UPDATING INCOMING SHIPMENT DATES IN ERP SYSTEM IN A TIMELY MANNER
  • COMMUNICATES WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL DEPARTMENTS ON SHIPMENT DELIVERIES AND PLANNED RECEIPTS
  • MANAGES LOGISTICS OF THIRD-PARTY PARTNER AND VENDOR SHIPMENTS
  • OWNERSHIP OF INVENTORY MANAGEMENT IN ERP SYSTEM.
  • MANAGING BULK PRODUCTION RECEIVING PROCESS, VERIFYING COUNTS, COORDINATING DELIVERY OF PRODUCTION FIT APPROVALS, AND QC FINDINGS
  • OWNS THE ISSUING AND DOCUMENTING CREDIT MEMOS AND CHARGEBACKS
  • OWNS VERIFYING AND SUBMITTING VENDOR SHIPPING DOCUMENTS TO ACCOUNTING DEPT ON ALL PRODUCTION SHIPMENTS FOR ON TIME PAYMENT TO VENDORS
  • WORKS WITH CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAMS IN PREPARING ALL QC PRODUCTS AND PRODUCTION APPROVALS
  • COORDINATE WITH DISTRIBUTION MANAGER ON TRANSFERS ORDERS AS NEEDED
  • ASSIST WITH INVENTORY ALLOCATION AT THE DC AS NEEDED
  • ENSURE RECEIVING WAREHOUSES AND DAMAGES WAREHOUSES ARE UPDATED
  • COORDINATES WITH STAFF TO ENSURE STANDARD PROCEDURES AND RESOLVE ANY LOGISTICS ISSUES ON A DAILY BASIS
  • MAINTAIN STANDARDS OF HEALTH AND SAFETY, AND SECURITY AS OUTLINED IN COMPANY’S COVID PLAN
  • MONITOR AND ENSURE INFORMATION IS BEING ENTERED AND UPDATED PROPERLY IN WMS SYSTEM BY TEAM DURING RECEIVING PROCESS
  • RECEIVE PAPERWORK FROM VENDORS
  • MAINTAINS A LOG OF ALL FEDEX/DHL CLAIMS ON 71 LBS.
  • MANAGES THE DAILY TRADE COMPLIANCE OPERATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL IMPORT/EXPORT TRANSACTIONS BY WORKING WITH CUSTOMS BROKERS AND FREIGHT FORWARDERS TO ENSURE TIMELY CLEARANCE
  • RESPONSIBLE FOR VALIDATING HTS CODES IN ERP SYSTEM AND SHIPSTATION
  • MANAGES OUR DUTY DRAWBACK PROGRAM AND NEW AUDIT PROCESS
  • ENSURES THAT DRAWBACK RECORDS ARE MAINTAINED
  • REVIEWS IMPORT ENTRY AND EXPORT TRANSACTION (AES FILINGS) FILES FOR SUPPORTING DRAWBACK TRANSACTIONS AND CLAIMS
  • SUPPORT THE WAREHOUSE MANAGER WITH COORDINATING END OF YEAR, MID-YEAR, AND WEEKLY CYCLE COUNTS TO VERIFY INVENTORY ACCURACY

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 YEARS OF SHIPPING & RECEIVING MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE
  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT REQUIRED (BACHELOR’S DEGREE PREFERRED)
  • WMS OR ERP SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE (NETSUITE A PLUS)
  • MUST HAVE STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF E-COMMERCE AND DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER FULFILLMENT
  • DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO LEAD, TEACH, TRAIN, MENTOR OTHERS
  • HIGH DEGREE OF TEAMWORK PROVIDING THE OUTMOST RESPECT FOR ALL STAFF
  • ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH PEERS, CO-WORKERS AND OTHER PERSONNEL
  • ABLE TO FOLLOW SET PROCEDURES AND HELP IDENTIFY IMPROVEMENTS/ GAPS
  • ABILITY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS IN A PRACTICAL, METHODICAL WAY WHILE PRESERVING SENSE OF URGENCY
  • ERP/WMS/SHOPIFY/SHIPSTATION EXPERIENCE A PLUS
  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH DUTY DRAWBACKS, CUSTOMS BROKERS, AND ENTRY PROCESSES
  • ABILITY TO WORK IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT, WHERE MANAGING MULTIPLE TASKS IS ESSENTIAL
  • STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS, COMMUNICATION, AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
  • FAMILIARITY WITH HTS CODES, AND AUTOMATED CUSTOMS ENVIRONMENT (ACE), AES FILING REQUIREMENTS
