The Associate Analyst Reporting position is primarily responsible for maintaining an environment to provide ongoing and evolving marketing business intelligence through data management and report development.

  • Maintain and enhance the quality of marketing databases
  • Provide project support & coordination, as well as day to day upkeep of marketing databases and stakeholder inquires
  • Leverage data and analysis techniques to solve business problems, drive value, and gain insight from information in a scalable, reproducible, and automated process
  • Own the User Acceptance Testing process for reporting and database projects
  • Provide insight on data trends and anomalies, making recommendations where appropriate
  • Support the process of Marketing barcode creation and manage barcode attributes for campaign vehicles
  • Develop and run reports which will be used by marketers and analysts to monitor performance of marketing campaigns
  • Look for ways to introduce more visualization within the standard and ad-hoc reporting packages
  • Provide day-to-day operational administration of marketing database
  • Partner with IT and database partner as necessary to ensure operational excellence
  • Perform other related duties as requested

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, or Business
  • 1-2 years of experience in data management and reporting development, retail industry preferred
  • Strong proficiency with SQL
  • Proficient with data visualization software such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau etc.
  • Working experience with Python or interest in learning is a plus
  • Passion for data-driven marketing and business intelligence
  • Understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
  • Highly organized with an understanding of business processes
  • Attention to detail - innate ability to validate data and findings
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Goal oriented and self-motivated within a collaborative team environment
  • Development experience in data visualization
  • Solid written and verbal communication with the ability to develop and improve decision support systems
  • Advanced Excel and VBA skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Access
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines. Detail-oriented/innovative traits necessary. Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects
  • Ability to work in fluid environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to meet deadlines with frequent changes to projects
