Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the quality of marketing databases
- Provide project support & coordination, as well as day to day upkeep of marketing databases and stakeholder inquires
- Leverage data and analysis techniques to solve business problems, drive value, and gain insight from information in a scalable, reproducible, and automated process
- Own the User Acceptance Testing process for reporting and database projects
- Provide insight on data trends and anomalies, making recommendations where appropriate
- Support the process of Marketing barcode creation and manage barcode attributes for campaign vehicles
- Develop and run reports which will be used by marketers and analysts to monitor performance of marketing campaigns
- Look for ways to introduce more visualization within the standard and ad-hoc reporting packages
- Provide day-to-day operational administration of marketing database
- Partner with IT and database partner as necessary to ensure operational excellence
- Perform other related duties as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, or Business
- 1-2 years of experience in data management and reporting development, retail industry preferred
- Strong proficiency with SQL
- Proficient with data visualization software such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau etc.
- Working experience with Python or interest in learning is a plus
- Passion for data-driven marketing and business intelligence
- Understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
- Highly organized with an understanding of business processes
- Attention to detail - innate ability to validate data and findings
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Goal oriented and self-motivated within a collaborative team environment
- Development experience in data visualization
- Solid written and verbal communication with the ability to develop and improve decision support systems
- Advanced Excel and VBA skills
- Experience using Microsoft Access
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines. Detail-oriented/innovative traits necessary. Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects
- Ability to work in fluid environment with changing priorities
- Ability to meet deadlines with frequent changes to projects
