The Position

We are looking for an experienced venture builder, who, together with the Director Business Model innovation and team, envisions the future of fashion-technology and can lead the creation of disruptive new business models. Your focus will be on validating and building business propositions according to Lean Startup and design thinking methodology, in a data-driven and experiment focused way of working. You believe the customer's perspective is key/leading. You will deliver quality that exceeds expectations, always taking a results and data driven approach.

You have direct experience in venture building within a large corporate and/or a start up environment, and are adept at simplifying complexity, developing scalable propositions, and putting the customer at the heart of your work. You can balance managing your time between visioning and execution, shifting gears as necessary, to work across the end-to-end business model innovation process. You will excel in collaborating with different stakeholders across PVH to deliver against innovation north stars, role modelling best practice innovation techniques and approaches acquired through learnt experiences. Your average day in this role will be varied and dynamic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run venture building activities such as workshops, stakeholder interviews, business intelligence gathering and creative brainstorms
  • Be an entrepreneur within the business and guide our stakeholders through the landscape of innovation with your expertise
  • Refine the innovation challenge/problem statement
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research
  • Sketch out customer journeys in visual scenarios
  • Think of new concepts and how to solve the prioritized problems
  • Map out assumptions and define metrics for success
  • Design, lead, and measure experiments to gather feedback and make concepts better
  • Bring the right conclusions together and build a proposition on how to proceed
  • If needed, continue running experiments until your proposition goes into pilot phase
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Have at least 5 years working in strategy and innovation
  • You know how to design, validate, execute and scale new digital products and services
  • Must have hands on experience in venture building, working on adjacent and transformational innovation projects that result in the creation of new ventures with real ROI
  • Are an inspirational and highly motivated self-starter
  • Are a fast learner and not afraid to make mistakes
  • You understand and are familiar working with innovation methodologies such as (but not limited to) Lean Startup, design thinking, and Customer Development, and are pragmatic in your application of them
  • You are a future thinker with a relentless focus on customers and are curious about new technology and the trends shaping human behaviour and broader society
  • You have hands on experience running customer research projects and are familiar with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and challenge senior stakeholders with a strong and informed point of view, constantly asking 'what if' questions
  • You have worked in a high performance environment and set high quality standards through your own work
  • Are familiar with different sets of tools and you know when and how to use them
  • Know about innovation accounting, innovation visioning and strategies, stage gates, spin ins/spin offs
  • Are both creative and analytical
  • Are able to execute at speed while keeping the big picture in mind
  • Are excited about learning new things and you are even more passionate about sharing these with others
  • Can build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and executive leaders
