Freelance Visual Merchandiser - Ottawa & Edmonton

About the role:

Tiffany & Co Canada is seeking freelance Visual Merchandisers based in Calgary, Edmonton, and Ottawa to support Creative Visual Merchandising (CVM) initiatives and installations that amplify the client experience during key activations throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

• As an independent contractor, partner with CVM leader Canada to install creative assets and enhance in store environment
• Ensure styling guidelines and the merchandising strategy are upheld in store; partner with Retail teams to identify any visual merchandising collateral needs
• Ensure the merchandise selected for each creative campaign fixture is the best and boldest while being properly installed, styled and lit to create an impactful presentation.
• Be available for full-day assignments four times a year in September, November, January, and April

Experience:

• Five years experience in merchandising, visual display, and styling, preferably in luxury retail
• Previous experience in event design and production; theatre set design and colour display lighting experience an asset
• Independent, organised, detail-oriented, creative and handy
• Knowledgeable of local vendor sources for display supplies, hardware, props, furniture, flowers
• Basic knowledge of jewellery and jewellery display forms is a plus
