This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:
You have a strong background in textiles and apparel and love to translate design's vision by developing and sourcing on-brand and on-trend leathers, fabrics and trims. You have experience working with overseas mills, suppliers and manufacturers. Mostly, you're resourceful, organized and love to work cross functionally.

A Day in the Life:

The typical day is... atypical. You might be creating seasonal materials charts, establishing clear standards and costs for materials, maintaining our PLM database or Materials library, or meeting with fabric and trim vendors. The consistent thread is that you'll be working with an amazing team of cross functional partners who share your passion for excellence... and beautiful product!

To Land This Role:

• Understanding of the product creation process and production process and how one effects the other.
• Ability to adapt to constant change, pivot and adjust to reach goals.
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills to deal with various levels of management and employees internally as well as factories.
• Liaisons with suppliers; understanding supplier's needs and capabilities & maintaining a professional relationship at all times.

• Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Textile technology preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience in materials / garment development, quality, sourcing or related field.
• Demonstrated technical experience and expertise working with overseas mills, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Strong background in textiles, apparel, with a focus on product and material quality assurance.
