The Chief of Staff Office is supporting the two Co-CEOs making sure everything runs smoothly throughout Zalando and assisting in the most pressing strategic challenges. We are seeking to fill an Executive Project Planner role, reporting directly to the Chief of Staff.

In this role you will support the Chief of Staff in planning, coordinating and organizing for the office of the Chief of Staff in support of the Co-CEOs. This will provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate and further develop your project management and stakeholder management skills as well as strategic thinking and problem solving skills.

As an Executive Project Planner on the Chief of Staff team you will:
  • Support strategic projects and processes:

    • In close collaboration with the Chief of Staff and the MB team, help to coordinate projects within the organization together with expert teams. a
    • Helping the Chief of Staff and the MB team to organize and plan company-wide processes such as the strategy process liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership
  • Assist in shaping the MB agenda:

    • Helping the Chief of Staff to prepare the efficient governance of the system including administration of MB / eMB meetings and offsites as well as SB meetings and other formats

  • Support the Co-CEOs:

    • Supporting the Chief of Staff with ad-hoc requests and independently structuring and preparing written materials, including researching and analyzing data
    • Help the Chief of Staff in supporting the Co-CEOs in adhering to daily business, ensuring meetings are well prepared and keeping an eye on the agenda and deliverables
  • Previous experience as an advanced assistant, project planner, event manager or similar roles requiring a high level of contextual planning, coordination and confidentiality
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including experience in writing Board-level documents
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities and an agile environment. Ability to take initiative, understand deadlines and see through interdependencies
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with multiple stakeholders; experience working with senior leadership is a plus
  • Hands-on attitude with a growth mindset; a willingness to jump in and get involved where needed, and comfort working with ambiguity is important; representing Zalando’s leadership principles (OFM)
