The Position

This is a key role within our sales team where you will be responsible for maximizing our business and driving the MEA team to hit the seasonal revenue targets. The nature of the work is focused on creating and servicing product demand. The Commercial Project Manager would drive growth by bringing in new and maintaining existing business. You contribute to the development of the sales strategy at account level, to maximize profitability for the company and account. Furthermore, you will drive marketplace management for our brand(s), forecast resources needs and manage an allocated budget.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Indirectly manages stakeholders;
  • Accountable for the performance and results for all sales team'accounts within own commercial disciplineand/or function
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges;
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from manager;
  • Provides sales process guidance to associates, and/or customers;
  • Applies management expertise to set direction and resolves problems in own discipline;
  • Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems'
  • Uses company priorities, business plan and guidelines to make decision that impact the level of service and the departments ability to meet performance objectives;
  • Performs work in support of brand plans; demonstrates link between daily work and company mission; participates in initiatives, programs or products with moderate visibility;
  • Ensures actions protect company image and limits risks;
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address local business, service and operational challenges;
  • Forecasts resource needs; manages allocated financial budget.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • You'll have 10 years of related work experience, ideally including experience with a retail/wholesales business;
  • Proven track record increasing revenue by driving a holistic business plan inclusive of short and long term business strategies and financial targets;
  • Proven strategic thinking and project management experience gained withina fast-pacedsales environment ideally within the apparel, retail, or FMCG sector;
  • Strong analytical skills; Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices
  • Ability to read and understand a P&L and used to work with commercial numbers;
  • Experience and track record of success working on elevating categories and/or brand initiatives;
  • You'll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease; Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise
  • Able to influence both cross functionally and vertically within the industry and marketplace;
  • You'll be a commercially astute and confident decision-maker;
  • You're have strong communicating skills with ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives;
  • You master Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Powerpoint. You experienced using Excel to analyze large volumes of data and did create world class executive management presentations in Powerpoint (or any other relevant program);
  • Experience with SAP, warehouse management systems would be a plus;
  • You will work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work with pace;
  • You'll have excellent negotiation skills, always backing yourself with data & insights;
  • You'll be experienced in delivering results through implementing and driving sales strategies.
