The new Membership Program

Tommy Hilfiger is getting ready to relaunch its membership program. The new concept will make consumers part of our 'Waste Nothing, Welcome All' brand ethos tying together sustainability and pop culture in an iconic proposition. The program will play a pivotal role in our journey to strengthen our direct digital connections with consumers. It will go live in 2022 and be gradually rolled out across Tommy's website and markets. We are putting together the teams that will help us to realize this bold ambition.

The team

The Value Proposition team is responsible for defining and continuously improving the narrative and value proposition of the program and designing the benefits that members will enjoy as part of the program across European markets, online and in stores. The Value Proposition team builds the concept and evaluates the business case, both from commercial value and brand equity perspectives. They empower the other sub-teams within the program with benefits' specifications and design guidelines to deliver the benefits in the local stores and the Tommy.com website. The team includes people with commercial, marketing and technology backgrounds, making it truly cross-functional.

The Position

The Business Analyst will be responsible for building compelling business cases (i.e. evaluate branding & commercial value) within the strategy and objectives of the new membership program. You will help evaluate the new membership program overall as well as help size revenue and cost impacts of new benefits (or rewards) that will enhance the value proposition for members. As a data-driven team, you will also be expected to monitor and track program performance and campaign ROI once the new program launches, first in two key European countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build business cases for benefits and program concepts to understand commercial & branding viability against strategic ambition for the program
  • Gather and vet data that is extracted from CRM tech and other financial tools to build sound assumptions and reliable business cases
  • Enhance existing business cases or build new ones as benefit concepts become viable
  • Track and monitor rewards redemption, report on them
  • Develop slides and publish regular reports to socialize overall program performance, membership campaign ROI, operational reports
  • Drive testing (qualitative, quantitative, real-life A/B testing) of those concepts and benefits
  • Report its performance continuously, benchmark proposition through external research to ensure that it is up to date with the market trends and our competitors

The Ideal Candidate:
  • University degree (e.g., in Finance, Statistics, Business, Economics, Econometrics)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in M&A, consulting, corporate finance, travel loyalty (ROI and business models), CRM/Customer intelligence, business intelligence
  • Results-driven, analytical, and quantitative with good data-driven decision-making skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirits, strong interpersonal skills, and an excellent team player
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Self-starter with experience owning/driving projects to completion in an autonomous way
  • Knowledge of multichannel retail business data sets and considerations; knowledge of customer level data would be ideal as well
  • Comfortable with agile product development methodologies and an iterative style of working
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to present with clarity and conciseness
  • Empathetic and understanding of consumer needs
