ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability to work as a liaison between Logistics Dept, external carriers/vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Recruit, interview, and provide training to new hire associates.
  • Maintain daily productivity, and metric goals, and monitor attendance of department personnel via UKG policy adherence.
  • Oversee compliance with Federal Regulations of associate relations guidelines.
  • Be proactive in cross-training and keep detailed records of each associate training.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify current processes needing replaced and streamline existing manual tasks.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment and ability to handle multiple work streams at once.
  • Provide training and responsibility documentation to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Plan daily workflow, assignments, and priorities for staff.
  • Requires attention to detail and ability to work independently on project management responsibilities, as well as maintain daily and weekly responsibilities.
  • Create, coach, motivate, recognize, manage, and support associates to create a healthy culture
  • Ability to multi-task, have strong communication and organizational skills
  • Work with other departments to coordinate flow through the facility to meet distribution goals and customer expectations
  • Maintain communication with manager regarding all department activities and issues.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Carrier Supervision of performance thru daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
  • Work with Neiman Marcus Stores and Customer Care to maintain customer expectations thru carrier compliance.
  • Supplier / Carrier Relations/ KPI Reporting/Network Visibility Reporting daily.
  • Disaster Recovery Responsibilities

FINANCIALS AND REPORTING
  • GMT Spreadsheet Approval for Weekly Payments
  • Traxx Spreadsheet Approval for Weekly Payments
  • Month End Reports - Freight Payment and Audit System, Oracle
  • Promote Expense control thru corporate learning and communication
  • Report analysis to identify monthly savings projects
  • Freight Payment and Audit Function Reporting to Warehouse Management and Store Operations
  • Furniture Operations Expense Payments and Compliance of 3PL Daily and Weekly Reporting

Item Set Up
  • Drop Ship Item Extract Report completed thru report upload functionality
  • Warehouse Item inventory attributes maintained thru Excel Spreadsheets
  • Daily Item Attribute Change Report in Plumslice

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Excellent creativity, problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge including but not limited to pivot tables, slicers, complex functionality, formulas, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred or previous Project Management experience with people development

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • This role is fully remote, so you must be capable of sitting at your home desk/workstation for extended periods.
