NEW YORK

Our New York office is located in Midtown near the iconic Bryant Park and the historic Grand Central Terminal, New York's best connected office neighborhood. The beautifully designed office has 360 views and tall windows to bring the outside in. We have a communal kitchen that brings the team together for Family Lunch and Happy Hours. The office is open plan with plenty of rooms and booths to take a private call, have time to relax and work in private or have a large collaborative meeting.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Payroll Specialist to provide a high-quality people administration service, and support our vision of creating an excellent experience for our employees at all stages of the employee life cycle. Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working with the People Team, you'll help ensure we have seamless people related transactional and administrative processes, and that the People function runs smoothly daily. This role is varied and generalist, giving you exposure to the many facets of HR, with scope to get involved in projects and work with people from all over the business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • You will support the team with timecard management and following up with employees
    • You will support payroll exceptions and processing in partnership with the Payroll Manager
    • You will manage admin processes and documentation to support people operations, including data upkeep, HRIS system management and payroll support
    • You will support the People Partner with payroll and benefits administration, employee enrollment and onboarding
    • You will run regular, periodic reports to ensure data and essential processes are maintained and highlight metrics in relevant departments and escalate when needed
    • You will coordinate Wisebuy invoicing processes for People team spend, ensuring uploading and process management
    • You will create and format decks to support the team with communications including: benefits, toolkits, workshop materials.


WHO YOU ARE

    • You have 1+ years experience in Payroll/HR administration
    • You have experience with Excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint
    • You have experience with HRIS systems (ADP or Workday )
    • You are data-driven, with an ability to translate analytics into insights and actions
    • You don't just settle for 'how it's always been done here', or 'how I've done it elsewhere'; you're always trying your best to 'do it differently and better'
    • You are solutions-focused and able to suggest ideas for new ways of working
    • You are naturally collaborative, with drive and determination to get involved and take on a variety of tasks
