Director of Supply Capacity Planning

FIGS is looking for a Director of Supply Planning to join the Production team. As a member of the team, you will oversee the planning and directing of supply from offshore suppliers to support demand. You will also ensure new product is allocated while also maintaining core replenishment product factory space across core and injection product categories. We are looking for someone to establish processes and build structure. Our ideal candidate is agile, adaptable and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. In this role, you will report directly into the VP of Production.

What you'll do:

• Oversee the planning and directing of supply from offshore suppliers to support demand.
• Partner with Inventory Planning and Production to ensure the monthly inventory orders are allocated among the supplier network.
• Ensure new product is allocated while also maintaining core replenishment product factory space across core and injection product categories.
• Ensure accuracy of supplier capacity and availability for FIGS.
• Maintain factory capacity charts and production line efficiencies.
• Partners with Inventory Planning to review min/max inventory levels on an ongoing basis to maintain the required levels of inventory
• Monitor inventory levels and balance across the network, maintaining inventory levels within established targets and prevent and minimize stock-outs and overstock situations.
• Highlight supply risks and opportunities to Production and Inventory Planning teams.
• Bring to the table tools, processes, policies, and procedures for continuous improvement.
• Address inventory imbalances and implement corrective actions.
• Materials planning
• Synthesizing the projections from Merchandising and Planning into factory specific projections by delivery

What you'll bring:

• 7+ years of experience in supply planning for an apparel company
• Advanced Excel Skills required
• Ability to establish processes and build structure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Agile and adaptable
