Job mission

To be responsible for the soft & hard facilities of approx. 50 retail sites of OTB Group companies in France, (brands: Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander, Staff International)

Job responsibilities and activities

Directly reporting to OTB Europe Retail Facility Manager, the Retail Facility Manager has the following main responsibilities:

- Ensuring that the facilities are fully operational with all utilities working
- Preparing an integrated maintenance plan, estimating costs and managing the opex and capex budgets of the facilities in collaboration with the Finance departments
- Coordinating ordinary and extraordinary maintenance operations and assisting with energy management issues
- Organizing periodic inspections of sites to assess the activities of contractors in order to ensure service levels of excellence
- Maintaining continuous communication with store managers and contractors
- Cooperating with the Retail Operation and Store Planning/Interior Design department by actively participating in projects for new openings, relocations and closures
- Participating in the implementation and subsequently managing and monitoring specialist facility management software
- Identifying, managing and monitoring KPIs and SLAs of maintenance and service contracts
- Cooperating with the Health & Safety office to check the regulatory compliance of sites and implement any corrective actions required
- Cooperating with the Indirect Purchasing office to prepare periodic specialized tenders for the activation of new contracts also in collaboration with the Legal office
- Participating in sustainability and environmental impact reduction projects

Skills and experience

- Previous experience of at least 5 years in a similar role
- Technical degree
- Fluent French and English (knowledge of Italian will be a plus)
- Confidence in the use of the Office package (knowledge of AutoCAD will be a plus)
- Technical knowledge of construction, installations, and furniture
- Ability to work in complex and structured European environments
- Organized, attentive to detail, proactivity, deadline-oriented and cost-controlled
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Extensive willingness to travel
