JOB PURPOSE

· Manage the global production calendar in direct support to strategic marketing calendar moments and global budget to ensure synergy of activity across regions and functions. Partnering with the Strategy team to define the vision and roadmap for the VM team, enabling consistent detailed execution in all regions.

· Cross functional liaison, VM stakeholder within decision taking strategic group

· Responsible for delivering project management, business analysis and strategic planning services that lead to efficient and operational processes

· Design and apply business cases to support overall strategy and brand vision

· Manage global risk management processes

· Ownership of the VM budget, ensuring accurate forecasting throughout the year and on target delivery of all VM projects/ Windows, pop ups,/ins, instore activations, display tools, graphic and video roll out, client engagement related instore events

· Lead and facilitate the communication between cross functioning teams including marketing, architecture, events, product design and art direction. - develop and maintain an agreed project plan and detailed stage plan

· Partnership with Global Outlet and Wholesale/ Franchise Manager to align all VM projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

· Managing and adapting the global VM calendar based on cross functional strategic decisions

· Designing and applying appropriate technical and quality strategies and standards in partnership with regional production leads and finance partners

· Analysing the process of all production related VM projects, budgets, and other finance-related transactions to determine their performance and suitability in the function

Budget

· Managing the global VM budget: forecasting available budget by calendar moment for the year and supplying up to date budget information. Guiding regional VM leads and regional finance partners in their budget allocation and advising appropriate spend by activity

· Mitigation of risk factors through careful analysis of financial and statistical data in rapidly evolving global business environment

· Accountable for the central window budget, monitoring spends against this and identifying savings, ensuring accurate forecasting throughout the year and on target delivery.

Production procedure and process

· Designing end to end processes with central and regional teams for all VM production projects

· Managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans across all regions

· Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary across all regions

· Adopting and applying appropriate technical and quality strategies and standards/ sustainability will need to be key

· Researching and applying 'new ways of working', which are innovative and efficient

PERSONAL PROFILE

· Strategic thinker and cross functional liaison

· Experienced in Visual Merchandising processes and techniques

· Good understanding of production techniques both 2D and 3D.

· Strong organisation skills with an aptitude for budget and project management. An Entrepreneurial mindset is essential.
