SUMMARY

Kering is currently seeking a Financial Analyst based in our Wayne, New Jersey location to support the accounting activity for one or more of our luxury brands.

The Financial Analyst will be a key contributor in generating our financial results. This position will be the main point of contact with one or more of our luxury brands and will help us report accurate and timely financial data within a defined process.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
  • Lead, develop, consolidate, and analyze bi-annual budget and forecast inputs
  • Generate monthly financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow
  • Monthly analysis of financial results comparing current year financial data with prior year and Budget; this includes P&L, balance sheet and cash flow; perform variance analysis and provide commentary to explain discrepancies
  • Prepare sales and margin files for retail and wholesale businesses ensuring accuracy of COGS , reserves, and ending inventory balances
  • Manage the Cap Ex budgets and spend including the WBS SAP set-up and user changes via ticketing tool
  • Review and approve all Brand invoices, GL coding, description
  • Manage monthly reporting ensuring the accuracy of data between our ERP system and our consolidation tool HFM, including the accuracy of additional disclosure requirements in HFM
  • Prepare detailed P&L analysis to validate accuracy of data vs. Budget
  • Ensure inter-company accounts are in balance for both foreign and domestic partners
  • Review results with Brand Finance teams to validate results, understand coming events and ensure that these are properly treated
  • Support new and existing projects; Margin, investments, and assets to determine their validity and appraise their value
  • Understand business strategy, recommending improvements and ensure they are reflected in the financial results
  • Provide analysis in decision-making in all matters operational, financial, and strategic
  • Any other ad hoc projects as needed


WHO YOU ARE
  • 7 years of relevant experience with in-depth knowledge of Accounting Principles, both GAAP and IFRS
  • Strong analytical mindset with technical ability, excellent people and problem-solving skills with ability to see the big picture, EBIT, Tax, Net income and Cash Flow
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate the financial position of a business and how it has evolved over time
  • Ability to adapt and learn as we implement new processes and structures
  • Curious to understand the business, self-driven by passion
  • Creative personality with the ability to share the company´s vision through storytelling
  • Experience in utilizing accounting and finance software such as SAP, HFM, Hyperion, MS Excel, Smartview, Lawson, Movex and Blackline
  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
