Job Details

  • Manage the Production Critical Path, track progress and ensuring key dates are met by all parties involved.
  • Organise the production handover with design team and final production comments, bom’s for pp sampling. Track and approve final pp sampling.
  • Create and update final production files to launch at the factory handover.
  • Oversee internal wear testing and material tests
  • Issue the seasonal QC report to the factory & respond to product queries, including remedying any issues to improve for future collections.
  • Process and manage the production orders and re-orders.
  • Plan and organise production schedule with the factory.
  • Ensure the factory receives production excels and files well in advance to organise capacity and new production.
  • Produce raw materials requirements for production.
  • Order raw materials and liaising with suppliers to ensure they deliver on time.
  • Ensure all new materials are correctly booked in the system and checking regularly there is enough raw material to cover production orders and re-orders.
  • Day-to-day monitoring of the production progress with the factory and resolving issues.
  • Keep the relevant teams informed of delivery dates and any potential delays. Production and delivery tracker and production regular meetings.
  • Ensure product data in the system is correct and all completed for shipments, exports and invoices prior to exporting the data to our DC.
  • Manage packaging stocks with the DC and ordering packaging when necessary.
  • Produce the monthly stock reports for finance.
  • Check and process raw materials and make costs invoices for payment.
  • Manage stock shipments from the factory to the DC, informing relevant parties and resolving any delivery issues.
  • Monitor new bookings of stock in the DC, ensure they are done accurately and to schedule.
  • Resolve any delivery discrepancies with DC and the factory.

The ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 4-5+ years’ experience in a similar role for a premium or luxury fashion brand. Experience with leather handbag production would be ideal. Must be fluent in both Spanish and English. Willing and able to travel within Europe to visit the factory and Lineapelle twice a year Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a must (e.g. pivot tables, V-Look-ups etc) Knowledge of Zedonk or other equivalent systems preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills. Strong negotiation and people’s skills to build relationships with our factory and suppliers Great team player with can-do attitude Can be based in the UK or Spain
