Position Overview
Store Development Associate EMEA: This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior executives are appreciated. A flexible approach is a must, and the ability to change direction at a moment's notice. The role will be involved in the 3 areas (Project Managament, Training and Develeopment, Admin. coordination)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Management (30% of the time): - Manage the operations connected with implementation of store, remodel or refit - Influence the management of each project by actively hosting key openings meetings/calls - Manage scheduling and all aspects of the store opening and remodel process in partnership with Design, Sales, Merchandising, VM, Marketing & Creative - Monitor the build-out schedule, highlight and approach possible bottlenecks - Create all templates needed for the project - Monitor and archive all documents, information and files related to each project - Maintain and update the database related to projects both for partner stores and corners - Work to continually improve current processes and practices, providing input on store design standards to ensure operational efficiency - Define and track measures of success on opening performance, based on business results & partners' feedback - Help in coordinating Legal documents concerning new, existing and closing corners/stores - Facilitate logistic, shipments and installations - Travel to the regions to coordinate store/corner opening installations - Participate in preparing the executive presentation upon store opening Learning and Development (30% of the time): - Developing and evolving specific learning programs to support the development of the in Store Development team in partnership with the L&D department - Driving KPI performance; working with Regional Teams to create regular program of project management topics locally - Set the standard for the Ralph Lauren induction program, to ensure all new hires have a consistent package to start with - Quarterly review on progress done vs action plan agreed by Store development group based on annual 360 surveys - monitor, coordinate and facilitate execution Admin. Responsibilities (40% of the time): - Performing extensive travel arrangements for the Lead of SD and her Leadership Team (including arranging visa's if necessary) - Performing extensive diary management - Planning and organization of meetings including; venue search and booking, issuing invitations - and tracking acceptances, budget control - Preparing and submitting expenses for the Lead of SD - Instilling a pro-active approach to administrative support in order to optimize her time. - Acting as first point of contact and central information point for the Lead of - Sending out communications on behalf of Lead of when required - Preparing and collating documentation as and when required - Managing and maintaining the team contact and email distribution lists - Preparing boardroom / meeting rooms for meetings to include video conferencing, refreshments etc. - Receiving and welcoming visitors - Building Strong relationships with our stakeholders

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- At least 2 years experience in retail environment or project management - Fluent in English (native a plus) - Open-minded & proactive Team player, with a strong sense of initiative - Able to work under pressure and to prioritize workloads to meet strict deadlines - "Hands on" attitude & ability to multi-task - Excellent interpersonal skills (diplomacy & cross-cultural communication) - Willingness to learn and to share knowledge - Ability to build partnerships both internally and externally - Able to work on own initiative with problem solving attitude - Solution oriented - Excellent time management skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organization skills - Excellent Excel skills - Open to travel (up to 20%) Qualifications - Degree in business, management in fashion or economics - Background in business administration or finance a plus - Additional foreign languages a plus (Spanish,Arabic, French)
