Position Overview
The Product Copywriter is responsible for writing compelling product copy-including titles, descriptions, and details-that communicates and elevates the family of Polo Ralph Lauren brands and products on our domestic and international ecommerce platforms and wholesale partner sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Write and edit high-volume, sales-oriented product copy using studio photography or our internal databases, resources, and reference documents for Men's Polo apparel, including Big & Tall, RLX Golf, and Polo Factory Store divisions.
• Partner with Product Copy Men's Editor to create strong, effective strategies and execute them nimbly.
• Coordinate with Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Digital Content teams to ensure product copy messaging aligns with the tone and voice of Polo Ralph Lauren and is consistent with global seasonal content strategy.
• Develop and nurture relationships with Design, Production, and Merchandising to ensure copy points are accurate and informative.
• Participate in seasonal line reviews and design meetings to bolster product descriptions.
• Attend weekly meetings with digital editorial team to share learnings on copy points related to Polo apparel and ensure key product details are communicated correctly across all digital channels.
• Amend and revise product descriptions in response to feedback from merchants, editors, or other business partners as needed.
• Work on several projects simultaneously to meet multiple deadlines.
• Incorporate the latest SEO and performance metrics to inform copy content.
• Continuously develop and refine the voice for Polo apparel product descriptions.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Previous copywriting and/or marketing experience with a focus on men's apparel and accessories is preferred, as demonstrated by a portfolio.
• A strong editorial voice and knowledge of fashion to imbue a small number of words with a great amount of impact and drive sales.
• Proven ability to apply a consistent brand voice across multiple points of sale.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and grammar skills and the ability to multi-task and self-prioritize.
• Proficiency with Excel, experience with database tools, content management systems, and knowledge of best-in-class digital practices.
• Detail-oriented.
• Aptitude for working independently and as part of a team.
