Retail Director

Acne Studios is currently looking for a Retail Director; responsible for the overall strategy, ambition and performance for the global retail department and retail store network. Responsibilities will focus on identifying, strategically concretize and pursuing business opportunities to increase revenue and customer experience throughout any retail touchpoint.

Responsibilities

The Retail Director works independently with a result and action-oriented mindset. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the company´s overall strategy and responsibility to channel this into the Retail Department and create an environment where high set goals can be achieved. Acne Studios operates with creativity at heart, with a first in class business execution. The Retail Director shall always act and communicate in alignment with company values.

The core responsibility of this role is to develop and foster the growth of people & performance in order to meet long term company targets.

Other responsibilities that include but are not limited to

• Executive responsibility for the global performance of the full Acne Studios retail network, including Flagship, department, concessions and outlet locations across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.
• Understand and communicate the full Acne Studios vision & strategy with a clear direction to how this translates to the retail environment.
• Oversee global sales budgets, controlling costs and profitability across all doors.
• Ownership in delivering on sales budgets and goals set for the retail stores, and work in collaboration with peers to achieve desired results for the Commercial Department as a whole.
• Manage and coach a group of high-achieving individuals, making sure tools and support are in place ensuring performance at the highest ability.
• Identify and implement areas of improvement in client experience, clientelling actions & VIC strategies.
• Foster an inspiring and motivating environment where growth of the business and people go hand in hand.

The Retail Director reports to Chief Customer Officer and the work is based from our Headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.

Extensive travel is required; therefore, you must have the ability to travel internationally, occasionally within short notice.

To meet the demands of developing strategies via strong cross-functional teamwork, this role requires an individual who is adaptable, detail oriented with excellent communication skills.

You

• Have a solid management background with at least 7-10 years of experience in driving sales and developing high preforming teams in a fast-paced business environment.
• Are sales driven and result oriented, with the customers’ experience as top priority.
• Have the understanding and knowledge of the cultural differences in driving a business in different parts of the world.
• Are organized and structured with the ability to set routines and processes that supports the overall business excellence.
• Are Service-minded and act as a role model for Acne Studios, anywhere and always.
• Are never completely satisfied and always strives to exceed expectations.
• Are proficient in handling digital tools that supports communication and business execution.
