CORE FUNCTION:
The core focus of the role will be in managing the logistics function, delivering a first-class service-level to our worldwide wholesale client base. As the Logistics Manager you will join the Saloni London team to build the best service to the customers through stock management and logistics.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is responsible for the management of the overall logistics function. You will partner with Wholesale Admin, Production, Sales, Finance and Ecommerce.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Overall Responsibility for the Logistics function
- Administering in season stock allocations for all markets
- Creating the production order split for each factory and sending over based on the sales orders, prior to the start of seasonal shipment
- Arranging finished goods shipment with freight forwarders from factories and liaising with warehouses regarding booking in stock and reporting any discrepancies or overages.
- Arranging shipment of Raw materials and fabrics.
- Creating ASN for inbounds to be booked in warehouses and preparing product catalogue report prior to each season and sending it over to each warehouse
- Manage all inventory movements across 3 warehouses. Weekly Inventory Reporting and Monthly Inventory Valuations
- Managing the relationship with warehouses and logistic partners. Being key contact on all shipping and customs queries.
- Providing support to Production, Sales and Finance on all Logistics areas
- Overall responsible for the logistics overheads budget - approving all budgeted invoices and working with finance in cost discrepancies.

THE IDEAL CANDIATE
We are seeking applicants who can work autonomously & execute on seasonal targets to agreed timelines, ensuring that both service level and commercial performance are optimised.
Candidates should hold experience within Intl wholesale operations, distributing to worldwide client base.
The successful candidate will hold experience within a similar role, preferably within international fashion.

- International freight forwarding Import/Export
- 3PL Warehouse operations
- Carrier management
