About the Role

The Allocation Planner drives the creation, management and execution of allocation strategies and inventory plans that support the financial goals and product strategies for their area of responsibility.

This role is based out of the San Francisco office. Currently, job duties are being performed remotely. However, the Company may in the future require you/this role to be in the office on a full-time or part-time basis. What You'll Do

  • Evaluate inventory strategy and adjust to react to changes in in-season business.
  • Partner with manager to create and align seasonal allocation strategies that supports the inventory investment, and develop contingency plans to minimize risks
  • Forecast, track, and communicate inventory levels throughout product pipeline to ensure execution of strategies
  • Owns allocations, inventory and positioning for Vendor Managed Inventory/Basics including collaborating on receipts with cross functional team and vendors.
  • Shares out weekly and seasonal business review
  • Drive size and pack process to optimize inventory levels; use hindsight to build strategy to improve performance
  • Ability to evaluate financial indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results
  • Identifies, communicates and resolves inventory callouts, DC capacity constraints, or other business issues in a timely manner
  • Provide insight at milestones meetings and be a partner on solutions
  • Evaluate style performance and own inventory adjustments to support sales forecast in conjunction with marketing events and seasonality.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members


Who You Are

  • 3+ years work experience, preferably in Allocation, Planning, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Stores
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with proficiency in retail math
