About the Job

The ideal candidate for this exciting new role on the Sales team will possess strong communication skills and have an interest in sales. This role will serve as liaison between our external global wholesale partners and our internal sales and fulfillment teams. The candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment to support the day-to-day administrative duties of our Sales team, from data entry to the final step in shipping goods. This is a critical role to our Sales team and requires the ability to support multiple tasks at once, with an attention to detail and ability to voice discrepancies and/or concerns.

 

What You'll Do

  • Assist the three wholesale channels (Key Accounts, Independents, International) and their teams with vetting external customer communications and following up on requests, account set-up, SAP reporting, order entry, all with accuracy and timeliness 
  • Manage wholesale inquiry inbox and act as point person for the department to disseminate information to the appropriate parties 
  • Upkeep account data and records in SAP
  • Constant communication with external accounts on inventory availability
  • Manage sample requests from buyers as well as bulk sample shipments to reps and distributors following new product launches
  • Collate product copy and image needs for accounts as needed
  • Process and submit invoices for all drop-ship partners
  • Complete new product set-up spreadsheets for accounts and distributors as needed
  • Handle wholesale misships and damages; work cross-departmentally to research any discrepancies, issue call-tags, and/or ship replacement product(s)
  • Maintain and disseminate seasonal UPC lists
  • Seasonally update price lists with updated costing
  • Process credit references for accounts applying for payment terms 
  • Process credit card payments once orders are ready to ship

 

What You Have

  • 2-3 years experience preferred in a wholesale and/or retail environment
  • Proficiency in Google applications, Slack and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup), Word, PowerPoint
  • Prior experience in SAP Business One is preferred, or any B2B order management software
  • Strong written and verbal skills; clear and concise communication skills to internal and external clients is a critical requirement of this role
  • Problem solving skill
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Self motivated; ability to take initiative and manage own time to complete tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Can live in FL or NY
