SAFiYAA is a demi-couture brand, founded by Daniela Karnuts. It fuses traditional couture techniques, fabrics and finishes with a modern sensibility to create sophisticated, season-less clothes for the woman of day. Its aesthetic is as intriguing as it is elegant, traditional yet very current.

All the clothes are produced in SAFiYAA’s private atelier where each item is hand-sewn from start to finish by the same traditionally trained artisan who takes great pride in his work to ensure that the garment is as beautiful on the inside as it is the outside.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly organised and efficient individual that will take ownership of stock organisation and in-house logistics to join our lovely team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid experience in working with stock, packing orders for delivery, a good team player with strong attention to detail

Main responsibilities will include:

Follow up with all stock movement by maintaining and updating computer records for all stock items using scanning system. Coordinate and track ALL product movements between all ateliers/locations.

Proactively preparing stock orders for all packaging for all locations based on minimum re-order levels and in conjunction with regular interactions with production and sales to forecast requirement.

Receive, using procedures of delivery-in stock recording for incoming stock arriving at the warehouse as well updating computer records for incoming stock and outgoing stock.

All items at the atelier must be labelled and packed so that they can easily be found and follow a storage system that has clear and proper labelling on the rack and the item being stored. Finished garment stock must be accurately reconciled.

Coordinate, record and scan out all products going out for Sample sale and the same for when products are returned after the sale. Ensure the returned products are then properly placed back by following the regular protocol of keeping the garments.

Keeping accurate track of all wholesale and private client returns, checking the condition of returned garments and registering them on the system.

Properly mark and label all shelves and racks so that stock can be properly found, monitored, checked, and recorded for control and delivery purposes.

Working closely with press on organising, coding, and storing all sample collections. Barcode Collection Samples after ecommerce and look book shoots.

Properly record manage, and oversee all products being received and or delivered between the HO, Atelier, shoot locations and occasionally customers deliveries. This includes arranging delivery vehicle, packing, loading, offloading, receiving (as appropriate) as well as recording stock in and out and checking condition of incoming and outgoing items.

Maintain records for monthly stock take reconciliation between physical stock counts and computer-generated stock levels and supply complete copy reports to finance for monthly records. Monitor ageing stock and dead stock as per company guidelines.

Maintain and manage a very clean organised and tidy stock room that is constantly kept in good and proper order and as dust free as possible.

Ensure hygiene standards and cleaning routines are maintained constantly. Ensure the atelier has all the material (pattern paper, weekly water delivery, ordering regular office supplies from amazon, cleaning material.
