The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for both the tactical and reporting elements of customer claims processing. Daily activities will include collaborating with business partners and stakeholders to research and process claims as well as actively assisting in various department initiatives designed to cut costs and improve efficiencies.

  • Producing and distribution of department reports to various groups/stakeholders with the Supply Chain network.
  • Functioning as a liaison between the Logistics department and external carriers/vendors through daily claims processing.
  • Leveraging department metrics into actionable improvements to current processes.
  • End-to-end processing and maintenance of daily claims workflow.
  • Research and analysis of customer claims to help determine appropriate actions needed.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the Logistics team.

  • Work cross-functionally between multiple groups and teams both internal to Neiman Marcus and external carriers/vendors.
  • Attention to detail and ability to challenge and streamline existing processes.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple workstreams at once.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Actively support team projects and effectively communicate with team members.

  • Advanced Excel knowledge including but not limited to pivot tables, slicers, complex functions and formulas.
  • Advanced Office 365 experience (Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.)
  • Tableau or a similar data visualization platform experience is a plus.
  • Microsoft Visio experience is a plus.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
