As Principal Program Manager you are part of the zPEET Strategy & Projects team. Traffic, Pricing and Economics & Experimentation products are built by the zPEET organization. You will be responsible for driving key strategic programs and projects to success, which span across different products and departments within the Zalando Group. Among them are driving incremental long-term customer lifetime value across different solutions and driving innovation for further customer engagement. You collaborate directly with applied scientists, product managers and multiple stakeholders across the company. You will be the interface between multiple initiatives and support the development of ideas into projects, programs and portfolios which shape the future of Zalando. You ensure that the right projects are selected to maximize positive business impact and accelerate the achievement of strategic objectives. You will work closely with senior leaders to enable our business to leverage our data and make smarter decisions to drive traffic and conversion.

  • Driving key strategic projects involving multiple contributors from across zPEET and external business units.
  • Manage interdependencies and coordination across projects and programs to safeguard overall progress and quality

  • Shape the portfolio of zPEET projects across tech and commercial
  • Change the game, analyze our current performance, find opportunities, improve processes and help us grow stronger. Collaborate with your stakeholders in business, product, engineering and data science, to foster cross-department initiatives
  • 7+ years experience in technical project or program management, ideally proven by obtaining a widely-recognized certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP
  • A highly skilled expert in managing priorities and escalations with (cross-functional) teams and stakeholders
  • Strong change management and influence skills; ability to negotiate and communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to make courageous recommendations and decisions to drive significant organizational change
  • Proactive and action-oriented team player, highly organized, self-directed and motivated, with a passion to help junior team members develop
  • Ability to analyze quantitatively, scope technical requirements, and effectively prioritize program or project deliverables
