About the Role

In this role, you will manage online digital merchandise, promo & email content production for the Japan market for our Iconic brands Gap & Banana Republic. This team is product obsessed, customer -focused, innovative, fast-moving and team-oriented.

This role is based out of the SF office. Currently, job duties are being performed remotely. However, the Company may in the future require you/this role to be in the office on a full-time or part-time basis. What You'll Do

  • Drives the development and delivery of all marketing and merch content flawlessly across site & email.
  • Responsible for delivering and executing all promotional setups flawlessly across promo, CRM and stores.
  • Leads the team in ensures all projects are launched on time and meet project requirements; keeps management notified of progress and/or deviation from project schedule (deliverables, milestone dates, resources, etc.).
  • Collaborates with Marketing, Site Merchandising, and Planning on assessing the commercial plan against Production baseline and capabilities.
  • Leads meetings and schedules key milestones (briefing, kick-off, reviews, approvals) while ensuring activities/deliverables are aligned with the launch schedule.


Who You Are

  • Manages changes during the creative development portion of the project workflow.
  • Owns and updates a project tracker with new projects and any incoming changes; reassesses timelines as needed.
  • Co-manages a team on weekly workload management, with a focus on promo in season capacity planning, including site and email creative development and execution.
  • Acts as first line of support for cross-functional teams when production issues occur.
  • Proactively seeks out opportunities to learn more about business processes and systems, using that knowledge to suggest new ideas and change to improve overall efficiency of processes.
