Position Overview
This individual will be working on Polo brand woven bottoms category included denim and chinos. Closely working with all cross functional partners (design, production, sourcing offices, tech, merchandising) to develop design intent from concept to bulk. Responsible for daily correspondence not only internally but externally as well with our many overseas mills and factories on status of each style. Addressing all updates and challenges to the team to mitigate risk. Responsible for the managing a development process and assuring each style sent to factories is development and ready for stock production purposes. Maintaining accurate charts and workflow of each style to be presented at each weekly touch base meeting with cross functional partners. Tracking of any protos/submits/samples, aligning with calendar milestones. Assist team with various time sensitive projects that may come up.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•Support fabric and wash developments for seasonal and long-term development
•Maintain wash profiles for all core programs and maintain Excel and / or Air Table spreadsheet of all washes
•Coordinate special wash projects including special dye techniques and sustainability dyestuff updates
•Issue Purchase orders for initial sample orders
•Pre-book sample greige and / or dyed yards for SRS mange in Air Table fabric and / or excel
•Collect all initial mill price quotes, lead-time, sustainability attributes and update in Air Table and Excel
•Set up CSI color process and Lab Dip Management (prepare, launch, track, and comment on all dips)
•Maintain on-going fabric color & wash pallets in all dyestuffs and all wash techniques
• Weekly communication with design to prioritize and track open developments aligned to production strategies
• Support wash wash direction to factories
• Communicate and track all open development projects
• Assure vendors have sample stock to initiate developments
• Assure vendor has wash target and trim direction to initiate development
• Continuously tracking regional capability and equipment for innovative and sustainable developments.
• Prepare monthly open development recaps and vendor assessment meetings
• Conduct monthly communication with sustainability and innovation teams to align projects:
• Conduct monthly meetings with fiber, dye and chemical companies to track opportunities.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Great communication skills as this position requires daily cross functional communication
• PLM experience a must
• Advanced Airtable and basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / XD as well as MS excel #LI-CE1
