The Social Media Assistant will be an integral member of the organic Social and Communities team. A strategic thinker, you will have a demonstrated understanding of the social media landscape, and a proven track record of using data-led learnings to create impactful campaigns.

You are passionate about social and the way it connects people. You understand the complexities and nuances because you are an avid user on the forefront of upcoming trends and platform updates. You are naturally curious, always seeking out best practice examples, and love to break down barriers with new ways of doing things and a forward-thinking approach.

You will be a confident communicator and be able to build working relationships well. Your attention to detail will be second to none, and it will help to ensure flawless execution of global and regional social and community activities.


Planning and publishing

· Own the day-to-day management of social platforms across brand and beauty accounts working proactively and reactively to plan, execute and deliver best in class platform strategies

· Understand platform nuances and confidently publish on all social channels, pulling different publishing levers to optimise performance

· Brief relevant, engaging copy and work closely with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery

· Own commerce on social platforms, liaising with relevant teams to ensure catalogues are up to date


· Understand different platform metrics, and confidently be able to pull together the right data and metrics to support social and community objectives

· Support the weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting requirements across brand and beauty teams

· Be confident with using excel to manipulate the data you need to create content and campaign reports

· Demonstrate an understanding of using platform and social data to inform performance analysis and identify learnings


· Easily able to build effective working relationships

· Collaborate with immediate and wider teams through effective written and oral communication

· A clear communicator who can articulate their thoughts and ideas with confidence

Community Engagement / Collaborations

· Be able to support the day to day of our ongoing creator and community programs

· Own day to day community management of social platforms across brand and beauty


· Staying on top of, and proactively sharing news, trends and interesting examples within the fashion sphere


· A clear understanding of all western social media platforms, including but not limited to:

· Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Youtube
· An understanding of major Asian social networks is a plus - WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, LINE, Kakao, Little Red Book

· Analytical mind with an understanding of social metrics, and how to interpret data into actionable insights and learnings

· Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; a self-starting attitude and enthusiasm is a must

· Exceptional communicator - confident in presenting ideas and social thinking to different parts of the business and with key partners

· An excellent organiser who can multitask and prioritise multiple stakeholders and deadlines

· Can work under pressure, with the ability to be reactive and flexible

· An obsessive attention to detail and a track record of operating in a fast-paced environment is essential

· Strong interest in and understanding of the digital media landscape, particularly within Social Media

· Interest in the fashion industry is strongly preferred

· Degree level education preferable
