Role: US Omni Sales Manager

Reporting To: Head of Global Sales

Based In: NY Showroom

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday / one Saturday a month

The Role: To set the strategy and to lead the US Omni Sales team to achieve the budget while upholding brand standards and effectively working cross-channel. To manage the NY Showroom space, ensuring it is maximised and the team is driving sales from there.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget Ownership: Review budget weekly and report on progress against sales KPIs,
  • suggest and implement actions to maximise sales
  • Follow and execute strategic brand vision for the US arm of the company, in line with UK
  • Head Office company values
  • Develop strategies to achieve and exceed US Omni Sales Budget, including liaising cross
  • channel to maximise all opportunities
  • Weekly 1:1 Interfaces: Weekly meetings with each team member to review sales, open
  • orders, targets, and any other issues
  • Tradeshows/Market Week: Manage participation at Tradeshows and Market Week to ensure
  • successful meetings with accounts. This includes planning and hosting events in the
  • Showroom to coincide with tradeshows and market weeks.
  • Showroom Processes: Full accountability of the operational process and excellence of the NY
  • Showroom - identifying and highlighting any potential issues or barriers to sales or efficiency
  • Lead By Example: Promote a positive working environment and set expected professional
  • standards. Set goals to ensure team development.
  • Top Accounts: Maintain close working relationship with top Buyers, Interior Designers, and
  • Retail Clients to maximise sales
  • Travel and Appointments: Conduct appointments with top accounts (Retail, Trade,
  • Wholesale) based on growth targets. Appointments should be conducted digitally when travel
  • is not possible.
  • Sales Events: Full ownership of planning and delivery of targeted sales events being held
  • within HOH spaces. Strategize and suggest events to ensure sales KPIs are hit.
  • Head Office Communication: Keep in regular communication with company Directors in the
  • UK and attend all relevant meetings digitally
  • Product and Sales Training: Become a product expert and display best practices when selling
  • the collection as well as planning and conducting quarterly sales training.
  • Brand Representative: Follow brand guidelines and wear House of Hackney uniform at all
  • times, setting an example of standards for the team.
  • Business Travel: Work remotely while travelling for business to ensure that all Head Office
  • workload is managed
  • Team Player: Support the brand in other endeavours when necessary (ex: pop-ups)

IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE*:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
  • Minimum 7 years previous experience with background in luxury sales - interior design
  • preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to manage time effectively
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships within the A&D community
  • Strong record of period over period sales growth and knowledge of building products ideally
  • within the interior design industry
  • Must be challenged and motivated by working in an entrepreneurial setting
  • Team player: cooperative, builds relationships easily and support of peers, and encourages
  • collaboration
  • Must be flexible with scheduling to meet the needs of the business
