Woven Product Developer

Acne Studios is recruiting a Woven Product Developer, with the task of following the developments critical path, from initial design to pre-production fittings within the allocated delivery window. This is a role where you will get the opportunity to develop close partnership with different departments and suppliers while actively contribute to the creative process of high-end quality collections in a progressive fashion house.

The role

The role entails developing menswear collections for the woven categories in close collaboration with our design team. This involves attending development fittings and providing proactive and focused input to ensure quality and fit. You will also be responsible for the product data input and continuous updates in the internal PLM system. The Woven Product Developer will actively work to reach the sustainability targets. Further, you will do price negotiations and ensure production handover runs smoothly. You will report to the Senior Product Manager and belong to the Product & Design department.

This is a full time position.

You

We are looking for you who has at least 3 years’ experience in a product development role with an academic degree from fashion/textile education and/or business school. You are also highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a merit. You have high aspirations and understand the importance of excellence. You act with integrity at all times and have a natural ability to influence and build trust. You value simplicity over complexity and are guided by impact rather than prestige. You are pragmatic and hands-on and get things done. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and teamwork are highly valued. And ideally, you enjoy working in a creative international environment with a wide range of personalities.

Acne Studios is a global company with English as working language. Fluency in written and oral English is therefore a must. You will be based in Stockholm. Regular business travels will occur.
